BACH Weekly Newsletter - The Most Powerful Tool

11/16/2017 09:04:41 PM

BACH Weekly Newsletter

From the Desk of Rabbi Greene

“The voice is Yaakov’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Eisauv.” (27:22)

The Midrash states: When Yaakov’s voice is heard in the shuls, Eisauv’s hands cannot rule (Baraishis Rabbah 65).

A heartfelt prayer is a most powerful tool. When Jews get together in shul and pray as one, they summon tremendous strength.

The Bach is a beautiful house of worship and our community is wonderful. May we bond together as a group with warmth and caring. May we daven together with intent. May we continue to find our profoundly powerful voice.

And may our efforts fulfill the words of the above Midrash and tie the hands of Eisauv once and for all.
