Jewish Women's Learning Insititute

The institute offers an evening of Torah study, whereby Jewish women of all levels, ranging from beginners to those on an advanced level assemble together once a week at the BACH Jewish Center, to learn either in a one-on-one format (traditionally known as a “chavrusa”), or in small groups of 2-5 women.

The institute will comprise a group of young American women who have recently returned from Jewish seminaries from Israel and across the globe and have volunteered their time to teach other women in communities throughout Long Island.

Whether one wants a one on one in-depth Talmudic Law chavrusa, an intro to basic Judaism, Hebrew, or Yiddish, or would like to gather 3 friends to try their hand at Kaballah or Jewish history, all this is available FREE of charge at this new and exciting initiative.

Those who are interested in taking part or would like to try it out for one evening please call the Jewish Women's Learning Institute's coordinator, Beila Goodman at 516 .897. 2473 or email: women@BachYouth.com.
